This summary is for orientation only and does not replace the full text.

Who is responsible

Anota Canaston is a product built and operated by MTM CYA Corp, trading as MTM Cofounders & Associates (“MTM”), a company incorporated in the United States. MTM is the controller of the data described in this policy. “Anota Canaston”, “we” and “our” refer to that same entity.

What this policy covers

This policy applies only to the anotacanaston.com information site: its public pages, the rules guide and the news section. What you do inside the Anota Canaston app — your games, your account and your Club subscription — is governed by the app’s own privacy policy, which you can read in the app.

What data is processed

This site has no forms, no accounts and no sign-in. Data is processed only in these situations:

  • Server logs: our hosting provider automatically logs each request (IP address, date and time, page requested and browser). They are needed to serve the site, diagnose failures and prevent abuse.
  • Analytics, only if you accept it: Google Analytics records aggregate usage data — page views, approximate origin, device type and time on page — so we can tell which content is useful.
  • If you email info@mtmcya.com: your email address and what you tell us, only to answer you.

Legal basis

If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on these GDPR bases:

  • Server logs: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in keeping the site available and secure.
  • Google Analytics: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can refuse or withdraw without losing any functionality.
  • Emails you send us: legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Who data is shared with

We do not sell or rent your data. We rely on these providers, who process it on our behalf and on our instructions:

  • Google (Firebase Hosting and Google Analytics): site hosting and measurement.
  • MTM CYA Corp and its authorised personnel: support and administration. Emails you send us arrive in an MTM mailbox.

International transfers

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Google relies on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for those transfers.

Cookies

The site sets no first-party cookies. Google Analytics loads only if you accept the cookie notice: until then no measurement script runs and none of its cookies are set. Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage — not a cookie — so we don’t ask again; clearing the site’s data removes it.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of the page, and block or delete cookies in your browser. The site keeps working the same.

How long data is kept

We keep each item only for as long as the purpose that justified it requires:

  • Server logs: a short period, per the hosting provider’s standard configuration.
  • Google Analytics data: 14 months, in aggregate.
  • Emails you send us: as long as needed to handle your enquiry, up to 24 months from last contact.

Your rights

You may at any time ask us to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing, port it to another service, and withdraw your consent. Email info@mtmcya.com and we will respond within 30 days. Exercising these rights is free.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

United States residents

If you live in California or another state with consumer privacy laws, you also have the right to know, access, correct and delete the personal information we hold about you, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Minors

This site is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced prominently on the site.
